Dear All,
I would be most grateful if I can be helped with how to migrate and upgrade or vice-versa a FIM 2010 and DB installed locally on a Windows 2008 R2 Server to Windows 2012 R2 server and in addition provide high availability for the service.
Current Situation:
- FIM 2010 Sync Service and DB installed on Windows 2008 R2 domain controller (The service is used for the synchronization of Global Address Lists between 2 Exchange organisations)
- DC needs to be upgraded to Windows 2012
Desired Situation:
Migrate FIM Sync to a new 2012 Server or more servers as needed
DB on another Server
Provide High Availability for both Sync Service and DB
As I mentioned at the introduction, I cannot express my gratitude enough if I can be provided with a step-by-step guide. Absent of that, any help is still very much welcomed.
